Al-Quds University serves Jerusalem and the surrounding towns, villages and refugee camps, with its main campus in Abu Dis and further campuses in Jerusalem, Sheikh Jarrah, Beit Hanina and Al-Bireh.
Its Science Museum, opened in 2007, teaches through direct interaction rather than display, and the Meet Math Museum is the first interactive mathematics museum in Palestine and the wider region. The University also runs the Community Action Center, established in 1999 to support the Palestinian community in East Jerusalem.
